Much of Malawi's soil is red clay called laterite. It is enriched with iron and aluminium that has been developed over time by the extreme weather conditions of heavy rain and excessive heat.
Malawi has two different climate seasons; the dry season lasts from April through to November and the wet season from December to March. In June it is dry and hot. Today is 76 degrees farenheit with 73% humidity, very, very sticky.
